Tali Cohen's Introduction
I'm Tali Cohen, a sophomore Studio Art and Secondary Education double
major. Having grown up with a dietitian for a mother, I've always loved
cooking and healthy eating, but it wasn't until I got much older that I
realized how lucky I was to always have that option and access. Since coming to
the University of Maryland, I've become really interested in food justice,
community nutrition, and sustainable urban agriculture. On this trip, I'm
excited to begin learning, from our service partners in Huntington, about how to create a food just world.
